Managing Context in Akogrimo

Applications that use Akogrimo rely on workflows to orchestrate a set of mobile services chosen from those supported within the Akogrimo Virtual Organisation. As the mobile services move around and even temporarily disappear, their behaviour is monitored for context changes of interest to the workflow depending on them. Measuring and monitoring this context information is a challenge at the centre of the Akogrimo project. This paper presents how Akogrimo manages context and highlights areas where this management needs to be extended and refined.
